Phylicia brings over 15 years of editing experience, eight years of military service, and five years in proposal development. She blends precision, structure, and a deep love of storytelling into everything she does.

Her editing journey began in 2010 with freelance and academic work, evolving into a full-time professional career by 2015. Since then, she has worked with manuscripts, marketing materials, and government proposals totaling nearly $7 billion in awarded contracts.

With a BA in English and a Master’s in Publishing, Phylicia founded Pixel and Paper Forge to support authors and organizations that care deeply about the power of words. She brings a sharp editorial eye, an inclusive mindset, and the kind of deadline-driven discipline that comes from military service.

When she’s not editing, she’s most likely deep in a book, raising three brilliant kids, or building the next phase of her publishing vision.
